We are both juniors in the college of arts and sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville majoring in Mass Communications.

Our blog is aimed at exploring the intersections of race, gender, politics, and pop culture as they relate to the representations and portrayals of people of color (MELANATED).

Our goal is to advocate for people of color, and to be extremely adamant about educating, empowering, and making sure people of color have a platform to have their voices heard.
